It’s a Samsung ISOCELL HM2 sensor with 9-in-1 pixel binning resulting in 12MP images that we’ve seen in other Xiaomi phones like the Mi 10i. In addition to the primary camera, it has an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, a 5MP macro sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor. Update: A tweet by OnePlus founder and SEO Pete Lau has hinted that the OnePlus nine range will launch on March 8. Lau tweeted “stay tuned for March 8” with an image of the Earth as viewed from the moon with the text “something new is on the horizon” – we’d place a substantial bet that this is going to be a new set of OnePlus nine phones. More interestingly, what does this mean for the more expensive OnePlus 9?
With the promised MIUI 12.5 update, the software should become much more user-friendly, but that isn’t a factor we can consider yet while adding up the scores. 06:54 pm (IST): The MIUI 12.5 stable update just went live for the Redmi K40 Pro. Fueling the Redmi Note 10 Pro (Max) is a 5020mAh battery. The Note 10 Pro (Max) is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 732G, which the same chipset is powering the Poco X3. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro Max has scored three points higher than DxOMark in its camera benchmarking tests. The price of the Redmi Note 10 Pro (Max) in Nepal is NPR 33,999 for the 6/128GB variant. All in all, it’s still a very functional camera at this price point.
It is still an upgrade over the Snapdragon 720G used in the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max. Redmi Note 10 Pro (Max) will be available across Xiaomi authorized stores in Nepal shortly. Xiaomi says they have made the notch smaller, which now measures just 2.96mm in diameter. Xiaomi India managing director and global vice-president Manu Kumar Jain took to post about it on Twitter, citing the 106 scores it raked up on DxOMark. The score seemingly surpasses the camera performance achieved by the 2020 iPhone SE by Apple, and even though the latter isn’t the latest and best smartphone offering from Apple, it does come with Apple’s venerable camera algorithms that have received widespread acclaim across the industry.
